Novice
Our Novice programs introduce beginners to competitive rowing. Focusing mainly on technique, new rowers train in various crew boats, both sweeping and sculling, while at the same time improving their physical conditioning.
Rowing four to five times per week and racing at various competitions, participants will be exposed to competitive rowing with the South Niagara Rowing Club.

Competitive Rowing
Offered for committed athletes, the various competitive programs provide training and conditioning in preparation for competition. Athletes progress through age categories and skill levels in both sculling and sweeping events in crews of two, four and eight rowers. These programs demand dedication-daily on water training, frequent travel to out of town regattas and year round training activity.

Masters
Offered for adults who want to pursue the competitive side of rowing. Depending on the number of participants, crews may train in various sized boats both sweeping and skulling.
