Fall Competitive Rowing
Train to Compete – Junior A and B
Wednesday, September 7th through Monday, November 7th
Training 6 days a week – coach to determine day off
Women – 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Men – 5:30 – Dark
Cost is $300 plus appropriate RCA/RO fees
- Offered for committed athletes, the competitive programs provides training and conditioning in preparation for competition.
- These programs demand dedication-daily on water training, frequent travel to out of town regattas and year round training activity
- Athlete must have appropriate paperwork to cross into the U.S.A.
- Coaching as arranged by the program.
- Athletes will be training for 5000 m competitions
- Skill level will determine boat assignment.
- Boat assignments and scheduling will be determined by the coach/club.
- Fees include the trailering of boats to regattas
- Accommodation, food and transportation to away regattas is not included in registration fee
- Fall regattas are Head of the Welland (September 24th),
Head of the Ohio (Pittsburgh, PA – September 30th - October 1st),
Head of the Hallowe’en (in-house fun regatta – October 29th)
and Head of the Hooch (Chattanooga, TN – November 4th to 6th)
- Entries to the Head of the Charles Regatta (October 21st – 23rd) in Boston where only specific crews qualify are not guaranteed or cost included. Athlete qualification for this regatta will be determined near the start of the program
