Every spring there's a lot of excitement in the air at the South Niagara Rowing Club as athletes from local high schools get pumped waiting in anticipation to get on the water. After several competitions and months of winter training on ergs, come April, suddenly there's a light at the end of the tunnel waiting for the ice to clear.
Calling South Niagara home, these athletes prepare for the annual High School Regatta Season and the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association (CSSRA) National Championships - often referred to as the School Boy Regatta.

Times and dates set by high school coaches.

Approximately 100 hours of time on the course subject to weather conditions.

Regatta fees, hotel, meals and boat transportation are not included.

SNRC fees include schools use of coaching & safety equipment, boats, oars, fuel and facilities.
