Learn To Row

Learn to row programs are designed to introduce beginners to the sport of rowing. Focus is on learning the different boats, terms, movements and techniques. New rowers train in larger crew boats and receive preliminary instruction to prepare them for novice competitive rowing. Preferred ages are 11 and older. Participants will be on the water rowing in actual rowing shells. June sessions will lead athletes into the summer novice program and the August session will lead athletes into the fall novice program.  To get the most from the session participants should plan on attending all practice days.
